On February 26th, 2014, Richard Thaler, the director of IHA(International Hydropower Association)’s director paid a visit to CEC(China Electricity Council).

Thaler said, China is a great hydropower nation. In recent years, the rapid growth of China’s hydropower capacity has made a great contribution to the global hydropower industry.
IHA wishes that the forthcoming 2015 international hydropower meeting in China can make the hydropower development a focus in the world.
Thaler believes that the wide participation in China’s hydropower industry will certainly enhance the status and influence of the hydropower in the global energy industry.
